Our practice is grounded in a dedicated team and covers the principal areas of banking and finance law.
We advise banks, building societies, REITs, investment management companies and investment funds as well as corporate clients with respect to any and all problems in the area of banking and finance: from the structuring of their transactions to the implementation of contractual or other documents.
In coordination with our commercial litigation team, we represent clients in connection with complex banking and finance disputes, in particular before financial regulatory bodies such as AMF (“Autorité des marchés financiers”, French financial markets authority) or ACPR (“Autorité de contrôle prudentielle et de résolution”, French banking regulatory authority) or in courts.
Our Banking & Finance team also has significant experience in white-collar crime relating to banking and financial markets, be it insider dealing, swindling, bank misrepresentations or criminal sanctions on violations of banking or financial regulations. We often advise and represent listed companies' executives and directors before the Sanctions committee of AMF or ACPR, and both companies or individuals in criminal courts (as counsel to the plaintiff or defendant).
