Frédéric MARCHAND began his career in 1992 with the firm of Gide Loyrette Nouel prior to joining Cornet Vincent Ségurel in 1998 and becoming a partner in the Public law department in 2000.
Frédéric MARCHAND holds a degree from the Institut de droit public des affaires [Institute for Public Business Law] and specialises in public law. His practice is devoted to public law and environmental law for a large panel of public players and companies.
His area of practice principally covers public contracts, public economic law, the law relating to local public/government-owned companies, operational organisation, and urban planning and zoning.
In partnership with independent firms in technical engineering and finance, Frédéric MARCHAND is involved (together with his team and other resources of the Firm) in complex contractual and/or institutional operaions in numerous business sectors (property projects and development, organisation of state companies, implementation of new methods for managing public services, financing public equipment, elaboration and review of regulatory and planning documents, etc.).
In the environmental sector, Frédéric MARCHAND represents industrial investors and companies in respect of their problems with facilities classified for environmental protection purposes and soil pollution.
