CETI, an applied research organisation specialising in innovative textiles and based in Tourcoing, had been granted accelerated judicial protection proceedings on 15 May 2026 by the Lille Judicial Court. This ruling therefore marks the end of CETI’s judicial protection proceedings.
Following discussions with all stakeholders, the rescue plan was approved by the court, thereby ensuring the continuity of CETI’s operations and the preservation of all the association’s jobs.
The plan presented by CETI was adopted via the mechanism of classes of affected parties, in accordance with the provisions set out in the order of 15 September 2021. Spanning eight years, the plan involves a genuine repositioning of CETI’s business model, with a view to ensuring the association’s long-term viability.
This is the first accelerated judicial safeguard procedure involving classes of affected parties to be initiated by the Lille Judicial Court, making it a significant precedent for non-profit organisations facing financial difficulties.
A team from the law firm Cornet Vincent Ségurel, comprising Thomas Deschryver, Stéphanie Forest, Raphaëlle de Metz and Sacha Monthuel, supported CETI throughout this procedure.
