This transaction forms part of SIDG’s growth strategy, which now brings together Esenco, Firmalis, and Lavollée to strengthen its food and nutraceutical division. Esenco’s co-founders, Solenn Genestay and Matthieu Besnard, chose to reinvest alongside Waterland Private Equity and the management team of the acquiring group.

Founded by its management team, Esenco has established itself as a recognized player in the distribution of specialty ingredients for the nutraceutical, dietary supplement, sports nutrition, and preventive health sectors.
The company brings technical expertise and know-how in the selection of distinctive ingredients, in perfect alignment with the high standards of the SIDG Group.

This acquisition enables SIDG to broaden its offering and expand its commercial footprint in France and across Europe, while benefiting from the proximity and recognized expertise of Esenco’s teams. The transaction also supports the expansion of the group’s client base and brings enhanced expertise in strategic market segments.
