This transaction will enable Docaposte to create an independent centre of expertise and consultancy dedicated to the healthcare sector, thereby reinforcing its strategy of becoming a sovereign digital leader in the transformation of healthcare organisations.
WELIOM, founded in 2008 by Pierre-Yves André, offers healthcare players a consultancy service based on five complementary areas of activity: compliance, information systems security, digital strategy, project management and organisation. With 49 employees, WELIOM generated sales of €6.1 million in 2022 and has more than 170 customers, including hospitals and hospital groups, clinics, healthcare agencies, mutual insurance companies, foundations and associations.
The entity, while remaining part of Docapost, will retain its autonomy to better serve its customers. This alliance is part of a shared objective to guarantee security, sovereignty and ethics, while supporting the players in the healthcare system in their transformation, optimisation and digitalisation projects. Patients and carers will thus benefit from digital advances to improve the quality of care and the management of care pathways.
