Cornet Vincent Ségurel is advising the IDKIDS Group in connection with its administration proceedings

Weil Paris and Cornet Vincent Ségurel advised the IDKIDS Group in connection with the approval by the Lille Métropole Commercial Court, on 28 July 2026, of the administration plans for three companies within the IDKIDS Group, a major player in the children’s sector, children’s ready-to-wear and baby care.

Founded in 1996 by Mr Jean Duforest and Mr Jean-Luc Souflet following the takeover of the ‘children’s’ division of the Camaïeu Group, the group subsequently grew significantly through international expansion and various acquisitions, enabling it to diversify the products and services it offers across several iconic brands in the sector, including Okaïdi.

The recovery plans will enable the group to implement a major turnaround strategy for its business, coupled with a restructuring of its debt, designed to ensure its long-term viability and maintain employment levels.

As part of these proceedings, the group has also sold its subsidiary Jacadi, an iconic brand in the high-end children’s fashion sector.
