{"id":4182,"date":"2023-12-04T12:02:06","date_gmt":"2023-12-04T11:02:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cvs-avocats.com\/verkor-hauts-de-france-1\/"},"modified":"2024-06-25T17:10:24","modified_gmt":"2024-06-25T15:10:24","slug":"verkor-hauts-de-france-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cvs-avocats.com\/en\/verkor-hauts-de-france-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Cornet Vincent S\u00e9gurel is assisting the Hauts-de-France Region in setting up the Verkor plant"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p><strong><em>In support of the French government and the Communaut\u00e9 Urbaine de Dunkerque, the Hauts-de-France Region is providing a \u20ac60 million subsidy for the Verkor new-generation low-carbon battery plant in Bourbourg (59).<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With an initial production capacity of 16 GWh per year, and a target of 50 GWh per year by 2030 to power one million cars a year, the Gigafactory will be built on an 80-hectare site. The third battery Gigafactory to be built in Hauts-de-France (after those in Douai and Douvrin), it will create more than 1,200 direct jobs at an initial investment of \u20ac1.5 billion by Verkor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Work on the site will start in 2023 and the first batteries will be produced in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Hauts-de-France Region has been supporting this project from start to finish, from the very first phase of its identification, and then during the competition with other European sites.
