Four former executives of the group were charged with fraud and the premature collection of funds.

Before the court, the defense argued that the evidence in the case did not support the charges brought against them. In particular, it pointed out that the delivery deadlines announced during the marketing phase were realistic, based on technical planning, and consistent with standard real estate development practices.

It also emphasized that the irregularities identified in certain calls for funds remained marginal in light of the tens of thousands of calls for funds issued by the group and did not establish the existence of a fraudulent scheme.

Finally, the defense reiterated that all real estate projects had been completed and that the difficulties faced by the group were part of the context of the 2008–2009 real estate crisis, not the result of an intent to deceive buyers.

The court adjourned its decision until November 17, 2026.

Legal Counsel

Lawyers for the former Finaxiome executive: Cornet Vincent Ségurel (Thomas Deschryver, David Mortier)

Lawyers for other Finaxiome executives: Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier (Benoît Martinez, Arthur Teisseire), Daem Partners (Margaux Mathieu), Maisonneuve (Patrick Maisonneuve, Tiphaine Albertini)

Lawyers for the civil parties:
Yves MAHIEU (Rouen)
Julien MARTINET (Paris)
Alexandre CHAPEROT (NeufChâteau)
Bertrand DEBELVAL (Lyon)
Giuseppina MARRAS (Amiens)
Anna CARESCHE (Paris)
Hugo FERRI (Nîmes)
Antoine PORTAL (Clermont Ferrand)
Anne-Valérie BENOIT (Paris)
Anna LANCIEN (Rouen)
Alexandrine ARSENTO (Marseille)
Julien MARTINET (Paris)

At the conclusion of a week-long trial before the Amiens Criminal Court, attorneys Thomas Deschryver and David Mortier, representing a former Finaxiome executive, moved for his acquittal.

[20

post-28179","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-communique-en
["GET
