Cornet Vincent S\u00e9gurel has acted as counsel to the American group Wabtec in connection with the acquisition of one of its European suppliers, Merz Industrietechnik GmbH, based in Vienna.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wabtec group, a subsidiary of Wabtec Corporation, a New York Stock Exchange listed company, is among the 5 biggest rolling stock and components manufacturers for railways in terms of revenues, following its merger with GE Transportation during the first quarter of 2019 ($8 billion in revenues).<\/p>\n

With facilities in over 50 countries and over 25,000 employees worldwide, Wabtec group is consolidating its presence in central Europe and the integrating its supply chain through this acquisition.<\/p>\n

The Cornet Vincent S\u00e9gurel<\/strong> team was led by Adrien Debr\u00e9<\/strong>, partner, assisted by Alexandre Carteret<\/strong> and Philippe Guinot<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Barbara Egger-Russe<\/strong> of Austrian firm Greiter Pegger Kofler & Partner contributed her expertise regarding local Austrian law and regulations to the transaction.<\/p>\n
