Founded in 1971 and based in Villeneuve-d’Ascq, the Pimkie group has been under safeguard proceedings since May 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pimkie is one of the main French retailers specializing in women’s clothing for a young clientele (18-35 years old). The group generated \u20ac196 million in revenue in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With more than 200 retail locations in France and abroad, the company had nevertheless been weakened by the crisis affecting the clothing sector, directly linked to market changes, the arrival of new competitors, and declining store traffic. A massive cyberattack during 2023 compounded these challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After initial restructuring measures begun in 2023 (job protection plan and store closures), the group requested safeguard proceedings from the Commercial Court of Lille M\u00e9tropole with the goal of securing its future and accelerating its restructuring. The plan adopted by the Court provides for the payment of all creditors and allows for accelerating the group’s transformation plan and its overall restructuring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The safeguard plan thus ensures the sustainability of the Group and its jobs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this operation, a multidisciplinary team from Cornet Vincent S\u00e9gurel’s Lille office assisted the Pimkie group in designing and presenting its Safeguard Plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
