Located in the Saint-Augustin district of Nice, these studios cover a huge surface area and have been used to shoot a large number of films, particularly between the 1920s and 1960s (Le pass\u00e9 ne meurt pas, Les enfants du Paradis, Et Dieu cr\u00e9a\u2026 la femme, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With this refurbishment, the City of Nice aims to put these studios back at the heart of the global film and audiovisual industry. It has decided to award a concession for the development and operation of the site, with the aim of creating a centre of excellence incorporating cutting-edge technologies such as AI, robotics and real-time virtual production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To meet this challenge, Digital District, via its subsidiary COLOR, and the Nice C\u00f4te d&#8217;Azur Chamber of Commerce and Industry decided to form a consortium, which has just won the tender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Digital District is an international company founded in 2014 and specialising in visual effects, post-production and colour grading. With offices in France, Belgium and India, the group offers a full range of technical services and creative solutions while accessing a variety of incentives.
