Cornet Vincent S\u00e9gurel<\/strong>, Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d’Exercice Lib\u00e9ral A Responsabilit\u00e9 Limit\u00e9e (SELARL) inter-barreaux registered with the Bars of Nantes, Paris, Rennes, Lille, Bordeaux and Lyon and registered with the Nantes Trade and Companies Register under number 344 040 647, having its principal place of business at 28 boulevard de Launay, 44186 Nantes (hereinafter the “Firm”), is concerned about the protection of the personal data of visitors (hereinafter “You”) to its website www. cvs-avocats.com (hereinafter the “Site”).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By visiting the Site, you are likely to communicate personal data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In connection with the collection and processing of personal data on the Site, the Firm acts as data controller, and undertakes to protect such data in accordance with applicable regulations and in particular Regulation (EU) No. 2016\/679 of April 27, 2016 known as the “General Data Protection Regulation” or “GDPR”) and Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 known as the “Data Protection Act” as amended (hereinafter the “Applicable Regulations”).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Controller:<\/strong> refers to the natural or legal person, public authority, department or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Sub-processor<\/strong>: means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller or the original processor;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Processing:<\/strong> means any operation or set of operations which may or may not be performed using automated processes and applied to personal data or sets of personal data, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, communication by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Other words and expressions used in this Policy have the meaning given to them by the applicable Regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The compulsory or optional nature of data entry is specified at the time of collection, by the affixing of an asterisk “*” next to the Personal Data that must be filled in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The compulsory nature of the communication of some of your Personal Data is justified by the implementation of the aforementioned purposes specified by Cabinet. Optional Personal Data enables Cabinet to get to know you better or to specify your request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    How long we keep your Personal Data<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The Firm only retains your Personal Data for the time necessary to carry out the operations for which it was collected and in compliance with the applicable Regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Personal Data collected for recruitment purposes will be kept only for as long as is necessary for the recruitment process. In the event of a negative outcome to a job application, your Personal Data will be archived for a period of two (2) years to enable us to contact you again if necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Personal Data collected via contact forms will be kept for a period of three (3) years following the last contact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In the event that you enter into a contractual relationship with us, your Personal Data will be kept for as long as is necessary for the proper management of the contractual relationship, and will then be archived for the legal period of prescription for the purposes of proof for the establishment, exercise or defense of a legal claim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. Recipients<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Within the framework of a strict policy of access and confidentiality management, only the recipients duly authorized by the Firm and listed below may access the information you have communicated to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4.1. Internal recipients<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The personal data collected is intended for use by the firm’s lawyers and administrative staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4.2. Subcontractors and external service providers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    When the Firm uses an external service provider or a Subcontractor, it only communicates Personal Data to the latter when strictly necessary, and only after having obtained a commitment and guarantees from the latter regarding its ability to meet the security and confidentiality requirements imposed by the applicable Regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In compliance with its legal and regulatory obligations, the Firm enters into contracts with its Subcontractors which precisely define the terms and conditions under which the latter will Process Personal Data, in accordance with the applicable Regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4.3. Authorities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Firm may disclose your Personal Data to administrative or judicial authorities when disclosure is necessary to defend its interests, or to identify, arrest or prosecute any individual likely to harm the rights of the Firm, any other user or any third party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    5. Hosting of Personal Data<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The Processing and hosting of Personal Data takes place within the European Economic Area (“EEA”).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Nevertheless, if the Firm is required to transfer and\/or store your Personal Data to a destination outside the EEA, where one of the third parties identified below is located outside the EEA, the Firm guarantees that such transfers are carried out to States that are the subject of an adequacy decision by the European Commission, justifying an adequate level of protection, within the meaning of Article 45 of the RGPD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In the absence of an adequacy decision, the Firm may transfer Personal Data outside the European Union to Subcontractors, under the conditions provided for by the applicable Regulations, in particular by concluding standard subcontracting clauses approved by the European Commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    6. Your rights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    In accordance with the applicable Regulations, you have the right to access, rectify, limit the processing of, delete, port and object to your Personal Data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    You also have the right to define general and specific directives defining the way in which you intend the above-mentioned rights to be exercised after your death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    7. Safety measures implemented<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The Firm undertakes to ensure the security and integrity of your Personal Data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    To this end, the Firm implements and maintains technical and organizational security measures for the Site and its information system that are appropriate to the nature of the Personal Data and the risks presented by their Processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      A cookie cannot give Cabinet access to your computer or to any information other than that which you provide to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Cabinet does not store any personal data in the cookies it creates. It only uses encrypted information collected from them to improve your experience on the Site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The cookies used to operate the Site are strictly necessary for its proper functioning, and are therefore exempt from prior consent from the Internet user.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
