Cornet Vincent Ségurel advises the management buyout of Flexirub

Published on 26 october 2023

Patrick Régnier, the founder of Flexirub, a manufacturer of waterproofing membranes, is handing over his company to Yoann Roué, previously Managing Director, with the support of Unexo and Bpifrance.

Yoann Roué joined Flexirub in 2009, acquiring a 2% stake in the company in 2012. On completion of this transaction, he became the majority shareholder. Patrick Régnier is also reinvesting in this transfer, as is the investment fund Unexo, which has been supporting the company since 2000. Bpifrance is also acquiring a minority stake in the company.

Founded in 1996 and based in Saint-Thurial (35) near Rennes, Flexirub has developed an innovative concept in prefabricated waterproofing solutions. Flexirub designs and manufactures made-to-measure EPDM waterproofing components for flat roofs, ponds, cisterns, façades and foundations. Flexirub employs 62 staff and in 2022 achieved sales of €11 million.
